Feed the City is a fun event for friends, families, and groups to make sandwiches for people in the DFW Metroplex. 9 year old Quin had a great time at the October Feed the City, and wanted to share her experience with us:
“It was a cold morning and me my mom and my brother were on our way to the feed the city event. When we got there I met a few people. They were super nice. I talked a little to them then we got to work. We had cheese, baloney, mustard, and of course bread. We all worked together to make the sandwiches. We made so many sandwiches. I in fact had never seen so many sandwiches in my life. When we were out of supplies we went onto cookies and chips. It was so much fun. I was so glad that I was able to help with such a worthy cause. To help feed people who are hungry. I hope we can do it again.” –Quin
