Can An App End Hunger?

TangoTab, a Dallas-based company with an innovative approach to social impact, has offered NTFB a first-of-its kind matching opportunity. TangoTab is designed as a win-win-win: It partners with local restaurants to fill empty tables by offering consumers exclusive offers and deals. Every time you use the app to dine at your favorite restaurants, TangoTab provides local food charities with one meal. This September and October, TangoTab is offering North Texans a chance to double their impact – just by dining out. From September 1 to October 31, when you download the free TangoTab app on your smartphone and sign up with the promo code NTFB, you’ll provide a meal to someone in need.

When Andre Angel created TangoTab, he seized the opportunity to unite two of his passions, support for the local businesspeople who drive our economy and critical support to those in our community struggling to make ends meet. “Hunger isn’t fun, but ending it can be.”

Over 3 years later, diners have provided north of 1 MILLION meals to TangoTab’s partner food charities just by using the app. Beginning September 1, you can help us grow this impact exponentially.

Here’s how it works:

1) Download the TangoTab app on your smartphone from the Apple or Android app store.

2) When you login, use promo code NTFB.

3) When you’re ready to eat, find a restaurant near you and click “I am Going”

4) While at the restaurant, click “Check In”

That’s it – You’ve just contributed to fighting hunger in your community! Use TangoTab every time you dine out between September 1 and October 31 to help ensure 1.5 million meals are delivered to the tables of families who need the support most.
